Ahi Chips

"Seared Ahi Tuna Nachos"
Prepared by
Clarence Gardener

What finger food engages you with a sports game better than some good ole crunchy nachos?

Have you ever been to a restaurant for a happy hour after work or just to go and watch a sporting event? If so, you may have ordered or at least have seen on the menu this simple finger food starter. It is definitely a favorite of mine because I enjoy seared Ahi tuna.

Usually, this dish is prepared with more of an asian influence. Ingredients like wasabi mayo, sesame oil, and won-ton wrappers create a wonderful platform to enjoy the Ahi tuna. However, I decided to compliment this dish with a more chips and salsa - south american approach.

This is a very simple recipe and it takes less than 15 minutes to prepare.

Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
Wild Ahi Tuna Steak
Plantain Chips
Multi Grain Tortilla Chips
Sweet Balsamic Dressing
Dill Weed
Mayonnaise
Salsa
Parsley
