MOSCATO SPINACH LINGUINE PASTA

It all started with this shimmering light that broke through the aisle of the department store as if to invite me to a portal of some of the most elegant dishware from another world.

When I saw this artistic plate, I thought I was looking at the design of a well carved masterpiece that was part of a stained glass window from an ancient church. My thoughts ... is this a plate designed for a king or queen, and if so, what culinary presentation would give compliment to such a exquisite piece?

My challenge now was that I needed to come up with an idea ... and here it goes!

This dish that I created includes ingredients used to make a seafood pasta. The theme of this plate is centered around a large scallop on a bed of spinach linguine with jumbo lump crab and roasted almonds as a garnish. 

However, the flavor of the moscato wine butter sauce is what makes this dish pop.



Ingredients:
Spinach Linguine
Moscato
Almonds
Jumbo Lump Crab Meat
Scallops (large)
Shrimp (large)
Baby Spinach
Unsalted Butter
Parsley
Garlic
