THE NAPOLEON

"THE NAPOLEON"

How many of you knew that Sardines are rich in Vitamin - B12, Omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamin D and other nutrients?

Well - they are!

When I learned that the emperor Napoleon Bonaparte had popularized this fish by being the first to order the canning of sardines, I guess I took a bit of inspiration from the fact that it all started in France. LOL. Understanding this, I had to bring a sort of elegance to this canned delicacy we have all purchased at the grocery store. Now probably most often this fish is not taken seriously, however, I like sardines and had an idea to create a dish that would do justice to the fish if it were to be served at my own restaurant or simply - AT HOME.

To achieve this, grill the Sardines along with onions, red, yellow and orange peppers with a bit of olive oil and plate this heart healthy and energetic meal.

INGREDIENTS:
Sardines
Olive Oil
Yellow Onions
Peppers
(Red,Yellow & Orange)
Parsley
